Black Sheep Bush plays Jay Leno — Queen Elizabeth is ‘not amused’ (3/8/07)

“She gave me a look that only a mother could give a child.”

(President) George W. Bush, who said, after reminding the queen that she had dined with 10 presidents, “You helped our nation celebrate its bicentennial in 17 — ,” causing a burst of laughter from the 7,000 hand-picked Republicans invited to the South Lawn of the White House for a welcoming ceremony. After correcting himself, the (president) and the queen turned to each other for what The New York Times described as “a long, silent gaze.”

“Who’s yours?”

George W. Bush, at a 1991 state dinner for the queen hosted by his parents when, after Mom told the queen she had seated her son far away from Her Majesty for fear he might make a wisecrack, he proceeded, to his mother’s horror, to tell Her Majesty he was the black sheep of the family.

“None of your business.”

Queen Elizabeth, uttered with an icy spin only the English can put on it.

"Thank you for your leadership during these times of danger and decision.”

(President) Bush, on the White House lawn, a statement The New York times referred to as a “brief foreign policy lecture.”

"Thank you for this opportunity to underline the extent of our friendship, past, present and future.”

Queen Elizabeth, every bit the diplomat.

We could all have a good laugh if the Dumb Bunny was merely a buffoon, but how can we laugh with Emperor Cheney playing God, and hundreds of thousands human beings paying for his caprice with their lives? We need them out of office now. Waiting for the next election lets them off the hook, and leaves the horrendous clean-up job to the Democrat who will, if right prevails over might, occupy the Oval Office in 2009. Impeachment is too good for Cheney and Bush. They should be tried by the World Court for crimes against humanity!]
